Timmy McCourry

Timmy McCourry, 73, of Telford, passed away on Friday morning, September 18, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born to the late Bill McCourry and Helen Clay.

Tim was a member of Embreville Church of Christ. He retired from AO Smith in Johnson City after seventeen years of employment, he also worked at Snap-On Tools for twenty-eight years. Tim loved Nascar, watching college football, and going to the flea market.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda McCourry; and brother, Ricky McCourry.

He is survived by his children, Paul McCourry (Melissa), Mark McCourry (Melissa), and Katina Allen (Wayne); grandchildren, Ethan Hicks, Tori Pleasant (Sam), Caleb McCourry, and Gage McCourry; several siblings; along with several nieces and nephews.

The McCourry family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the Garden of Eternal Rest in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone who wishes to attend the Graveside Service is asked to meet at the cemetery on Sunday, by 2:50 p.m.
