Thomas Hurbert Daniels Jr

Mr. Thomas Herbert Daniels, age 82, of Jonesborough, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Thomas was born in Huntington West Virginia to the late Thomas Herbert and Wanda Spence Daniels Sr. He was also was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Clifford Daniels, and a granddaughter Barbara Daniels.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Thomas enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns on TV, and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife Ellen Childers Daniels, children, Billy Daniels, Ron Daniels (Maggie), Bobby Daniels (Debbie) Daniels, and Brandi (Wes) Daniels; grandchildren, Ashley and Cassie; sister, Wanda Damron, one brother Joe (Janet) Daniels, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Thomas will be Monday February 16, 2026 3:00 at Community Baptist Church, 430 Bill West Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659 with Pastor Nathan Parker officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Graveside service will be Tuesday February 17, 2026 11:00 AM at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tennessee.
