Susan Faye Kyker

Susan Faye Kyker, 67, of Jonesborough, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. She was born to Bonda (Johnson) Hensley and the late Bill Hensley on July 7, 1958, in Washington County.

Susan was of the Christian Faith and is now in Heaven with no pain or worries and is with friends and family that had gone on before her. She worked hard all her life and would do or give anything to anyone in need. Susan had a heart of gold. She was a loving wife mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

In addition to her father, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Hensley; sisters, Pat McMracken, and Cathy Lowe.

In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by her husband, Danny Kyker; daughter, Crissy Kyker; son, Mickey Tesnear, two grandchildren, Mikayla Grace and Hunter Lucas; great-granddaughter, Mckinley grand dog, Karmabug; brothers, Tim Hensley (Darlene), Dale Hensley, and Jackie Hensley (Penny); sisters, Velma Briggs (Gary), and Judy Royston; special cousin, Terry Hensley (Karen); along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Susan will be greatly missed and her journey will continue in her families memory.

The Kyker family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow the Funeral in Mt. Wesley Methodist Church Cemetery. Mickey Tesnear, Tim Hensley, Terry Hensley, Alan Staten, Doug Nelms, and Greg Nelms will serve as pallbearers.
