Mrs. Sheryl Ann Widner, age 57, of Chuckey, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday April 9, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Sheryl was born in Detroit, MI, to the late Wayne Taylor and Marilyn Dutton Taylor Shockley.
Sheryl was a homemaker, secretary for her husband and served on the Embreeville Volunteer Fire Department until 2024. Sheryl had an infectious personality and a smile that would light up a room, everyone she met became a friend. The only thing Sheryl enjoyed more than being a mom was being a “Nanny” she loved her grandkids. She would go out of her way for someone in need. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years Kevin Widner, son Everett Fraley (Ben); daughters Nicole Widner, (Chris) and April Williams (Zachary); grandchildren, Alexander Fraley, Autumn Fraley, Kaiden Christian, Peyton Christian, Kimberly Williams, and Kyle Williams; brothers Brian Taylor (Kathy) and Joe Tinker, sister Dawn Taylor.
The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Saturday April 11, 2026 at Jonesborough Funeral Home 1776 Hwy 11-E Jonesborough.
