Ronald Lee Hogsed Sr

Ronald Lee Hogsed Sr., 75, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born to the late Wayne and Bertha (Carden) Hogsed in Blount County, TN. Ronald preached at several churches and was a mentor to his Pastor. In his free time, he loved to fish.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter, Delana Lucas; two brothers, Paul and Dennis Hogsed; father and mother-in-law, Herman and Grace Burchfield, and sister-in-law Ellen Nelson.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Francis Hogsed; son, Ronald Lee Hogsed Jr, brother and sister-in-law Frank and Shirley Hogsed, sister-in-law Sherry Hogsed, brother-in-law David Nelson and several nieces and nephews.

The Hogsed family will honor Ronald's life with a Memorial Service on Sunday morning, February 11, 2024, 11:00 AM at Cherokee Mountain Baptist Church, with Pastor Kenny Whaley officiating. The church is located at 178 Cherokee Mountain Rd. Johnson City, TN.
