Robert Darrell Stockstill was born in Picayune, Mississippi, on January 14, 1974, to Steve Stockstill and Teresa Young. He spent many years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before eventually making his home among the beautiful hills of East Tennessee.
Rob was deeply loved by many and had a genuine love for Jesus. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and had a special gift for training dogs. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed music, and had a lifelong passion for motorcycles.
Above all, Rob loved his family and cherished his siblings dearly. He will be remembered for the lives he touched, the things he loved, and, most of all, by the many people who loved him.
Rob is survived by his father, Steve (Julie) Stockstill; his mother, Teresa (Kenny) Young; his siblings, Stephanie Stockstill, Bethany (Jesse) Bales, Caleb (Shelby) Stockstill, Sarah (Kevin) Raines, Zachariah (Kelcie) Stockstill, Michaela (Randy) McKinney, and Mackenzie Stockstill; numerous nieces and nephews; his cherished dog, Oscar; his good friend Elmz Bearhead and his beloved online crew, who shared friendship, laughter, and many meaningful moments with him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Darrell and Christine Stockstill; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Bobby Sanford; and his brother, Joshua Stockstill.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The Jonesborough Church of God in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, and condolences during this difficult time. Rob will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
