Mrs. Patricia Henry Kirkpatrick, age 87, Limestone, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Patricia, known by many as Aunt Pat, was a native of Washington County and the daughter of the late Saunders and Clara Campbell Henry.

She was also preceded in death by her infant brother, David Henry, her husband, Tom Kirkpatrick, brother-in-law, Walt Menge, and nephew, Tate Pinnix.

Pat was a graduate of Washington College Academy and ETSU. In her early years, she had a vast array of career including a nursing home Director and Realtor.  She and her husband Tom also owned and operated drug stores in North Carolina.
After Tom’s death, Pat moved back to Tennessee and worked until her retirement at Burton Rubber.

She enjoyed time with her family, playing ROOK with her friends at the Senior Center, singing in the choir at church, and would fill in as needed as piano player. 

She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Limestone, as well as, a member of the Bowmantown FCE Club and a member of the Washington College Alumni.

Survivors include her sister Jane Henry Menge; nieces and nephews, David Moore (Debbie), Todd Moore (Sherry) John Moore (Debbie), Misty Hammitt, Daniel Menge, and Clarinda Whitson; great nieces and nephews, Jacob Pinnix, Kristy Dick (Mike), Justin Moore (Jessica), Wesley Moore (Jazmine), Isaac Moore (Sarah), Madison Rohr (Derek), Clara Whitson, and Carson Whitson; great great nieces and nephews, Abigail, Elijah, Skyler, Lillian, Betty Sue and soon to be baby girl J.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday May 25, 2024 at Grace Brethren Church, Limestone with Pastor John H. Moore and Pastor Dave Blevins officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Grace Brethren Church Cemetery with her nephews as pallbearers. 

The family would like to express gratitude to her sister, Jane and niece, Misty for their devoted caretaking throughout the last year.  A special thanks to Amedisys nurses, Hannah and Priscilla  for their sincere care and concern during this difficult time.
