Mildred Kaye Greene

Mildred Kaye Coffey Greene, 62, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 15, 2026, at The Greens of Erwin after a lengthy illness. She was born to the late Arthur "Guy" and Ruth Elizabeth (Richardson) Coffey. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her nephews, Dwayne Bennett, Denny Coffey, and Kenny Coffey.

Mildred enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, visiting with friends, and taking care of her monkey, Nikki.

She is survived by her children, Michael Coffey, Darlene Bucanna, Roy Lee Greene Jr., and Glenn Greene; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Bennett; brother, Lawrence Coffey (Phyllis); along with several nieces and nephews.

Mildred's family will honor her life with a Graveside Service on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery - 4708 Cherokee Rd. Jonesborough, TN 37659, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Laws officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone who wishes to attend the Graveside Service is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. on Saturday morning.
