Mr. Michael "Mike" Leon Edwards, age 75, Limestone, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mike was born in Washington County and the son of the late Cecil and Betty Graybeal Edwards.
Mike enjoyed mowing, street rods and drag racing, He was known for his Kenny Roger's hair. He loved grilling, bonfires and just being around his friends.
Survivors include, his partner, caregiver and best friend for over 30 years; Stella Smith Benfield; daughter Michelle Rucker, grandson Atlas Rucker; his good friends, David Williams and wife Tammy; Brother, Richard Edwards and wife Jane; granddaughter Breanna Rice; Special Friends who were like family; Joyce Bennett, Kama Billings, Dallas Higgins, Jessica Bennett, Debbie & John Carver, Doris Casey and his best friend and dog Cody.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 2600 ICU staff at the Johnson City Medical Center for their special care.
The family will receive friends at Jonesborough Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a graveside service to follow at Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Dale Mitchell officiating.
