Lois C. Legg

Mrs. Lois Legg, 94, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Four Oaks Health Care in Jonesborough.

Mrs. Legg was born on January 9, 1931, in Elk Park, North Carolina, to the late Coy and Stella Miller Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Buck" Legg, two sisters, Wilma Oliver, and Belva Carder, one brother, Ronald Davis, and a son-in-law, Tony Clark.

Mrs. Legg was a 1950 graduate of Jonesboro High School. Her Husband, Buck, owned and operated West Side Radiator, Lois was the bookkeeper. She was also a homemaker, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, and canning. Lois was also a Tennessee Vols fan.

Survivors include her children, Janice Clark, Steve Legg and Teresa, Lori Burchell and husband Junior, and Chris Mowery and husband Carl; grandchildren, Stephanie Walters, and husband William, and Carly Mowery, one great grandchild Caroline Walters; brothers and sisters, Virginia Sparks, Deadrick Davis, Pearl Williams, J.C. Davis, and Geraldine Briggs.

The family will receive family and friends Tuesday November 4, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Jonesborough Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Wednesday November 5, 2025 11:00 AM at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Junior Burchell officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
