Judy Harrell

Judith Mae Harrell, 72, of the Bowmantown community, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born to the late Bascom and Dorothy (Tolley) Musick in Unicoi, TN. Judith retired from East Tennessee State University after 32 years of service.

In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Harrell; brothers and sister, Danny Lee Musick, Robert Musick, and Tammy Vanhoy.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Harrell; son, Scotty Harrell (Kelley); granddaughter, Makenna Harrell; grandson, Nolan Harrell; sisters Betty Byrd (Charles), Pam English, Rosalie Hughes (Willard) and Penny Sells; and several nieces and nephews.

The Harrell family will honor Judith's life with a Graveside Service on Monday afternoon, November 25, 2024, in The Garden of Resurrection in Washington County Memory Gardens with Rev. Michael Heath officiating beginning at 2 PM. Everyone who wishes to attend the Graveside Service is asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 PM.
