Jordon Wayne Shepard

Jordan Wayne Shepard, 34, of the Sulphur Springs Community, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, following injuries he sustain in an accident. Jordon was the co-owner of Green Ridge LLC.

He is the son of Donald Shepard (Tammy), stepfather Stevie Whetsell, and his mother, the late Nina Hill Whetsell

He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, and the way he made others feel valued and welcomed. Whether spending time with family, sharing laughter with friends, or simply enjoying life's everyday moments, he brought light into the lives of many. When asked to describe himself he would say he was a "Christian follower, lucky husband, proud Dad, Pappy J, tree man, lawn man and all-around dirt monkey"

A devoted family man, he cherished the time he spend with loved ones and created memories that will be held close forever. His presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of togetherness that will be deeply missed. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

He is preceded in death by grandmother Brenda Rhea Gourley, and special brother Kenny Hayes.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his father, stepmom and stepfather, survivors include his wife, Misty Shepard; children, Kameron Shepard, Cheyenne and Justin Royston; grandchildren, Blakeleigh and Colson Cox; brother, Spencer Shepard (Stephanie); and step-sister, Jessica Light (Aaron).

Extra special friends include Kelby Sneyed (Brittney), Thomas Overbay, Aaron Aistrop, Matt Elder, Austin Fellers, Walker Catron, Brandon Valentine, Dave Sexton, Mike and Keli Thomas, Chris Shepherd (Tara), Elijah Littleton (Kayla).

The Shepard family will gather to greet friends and share memoires on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Jonesborugh Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
