Jesse Loren Bower

Our beloved Jesse Loren Bower, 41, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18th,
surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Maura, his
parents Thomas and Celia, and his brother Corey.
Jesse was born June 25, 1982, in Galax, Virginia and always had a special love for the
mountains. The family lived in West Palm Beach, Florida, then moved to Daytona Beach, FL for
six years. In 1990, the family moved to Alachua, FL where he had the run of 10 acres and the
surrounding countryside. He attended Jordan Glen School and made special lifelong friends
there. Summers were spent at the beach in Daytona where the family surfed and
boogieboarded.
Jesse attended Santa Fe High School where he played soccer and was the captain of the tennis
team.
He later attended the University of North Florida and settled in Jacksonville where he cultivated his
love of fine foods working in top restaurants.
In 2017, he moved to Denver, Colorado and in 2019, he met Maura, and they were a match
made in heaven.
Jesse started a new career at VM Ware/Broadcom. He worked from home, enabling he and
Maura to move to Jonesborough, Tennessee in 2021 where they bought their dream home.
On May 14, 2022, Jesse and Maura were married in Slaughter Beach, Delaware.
Jesse enjoyed fishing, surfing, competitive disc golf, camping, hiking, snowboarding, mountain
biking, cooking, and gardening. Jesse will be remembered for his keen sense of humor,
intelligence, kindness, his zest for life and the inspirational love he and Maura shared.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 11:00 AM at Crosspoint Church in
