Janet Garst

Mrs. Janet Suzanne Garst, age 59, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 26, 2024, at her residence.

Janet was a native of Washington County and was the daughter of the late Ferris & Evelyn Paul Huffine.

Janet loved caring for her grandchildren, riding motorcycles, shooting pool and just being with friends.

Survivors include her husband Martin Garst, daughter Marisa Young ( Brandon), son Patrick Dykes, stepdaughter Amy Barnett, and grandsons Braylen and Aiden Young. Step Grandchildren Austin Silvers and Hailey Barnett. Brothers Alan Huffine (Shannon), Eddie Huffine (Bobbie). Brother-in-law Eddie Garst (Sherry), sister-in-law Donna Honeycutt (Rob) and niece and nephews Kristen Huffine, Mark Huffine, Matthew Huffine, Zack Green, Dale Garst, T.J. and Jacob Riddle, Cam & Heather Honeycutt. Great nieces and nephew, Jeffery Garst and Colby Honeycutt.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 29th 6:00 at Jonesborough Funeral Home, with Chaplin Tim Bellamy officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 4:00 - 6:00pm prior to the service. Graveside will follow at Eden Cemetery.
