Herbert Bowling

Herbert Manuel Bowling Jr., 83, of Jonesborugh, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Agape Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born to the late Herbert M. Sr. and Margaret (Williams) Bowling. Herbert was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He retired from the City of Johnson City, he enjoyed hunting, especially dove and turkey hunting, fishing, golf, and umpiring baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Bowling; children, Herbert M. Bowling III (Kelly), and Trishia Salts; step-son, Robert Fries (Tina); grandchildren, Jacob Wayne Bowling (Stacey), Emily Young, Alexandra Bowling, Kristin Salts, Riley Salts, and Jennifer Fries; several great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hayes; along with several nieces and nephews.

Herbert's final wish was to be cremated and at his request no service will be held.
