Geraldine Human

March 14, 1948 — April 4, 2024

Geraldine Human, 76, of Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, April 4, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Echol Earl and Lottie (Collette) Hubbard.

Geraldine was a member of Canah Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She retired from Dentsply in 2009 after many years of dedicated service. Geraldine was a simple woman with a warm smile and a contagious laugh. She loved dirt track racing, fishing, and going to the beach. Geraldine was most proud of her family and loved each of them dearly.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Hubbard; two brothers, Bobby and Tommy Hubbard.

Survivors include her husband, Kenny Human; son, Eddie Speers (Tonya); daughters, Tammy Wines (Randall), Tonya Phillips (Duane); step-children, Christy Hicks, Andy Human (Chasity); grandchildren, Kelly Wines, Andrew Phillips, Stasie Speers, Tyler Wines and Seth Phillips; Step-grandchildren, Payton and Grayson Human; great-grandchildren, Laiklynn Wines, Brooklynn Wines, Jack Cole, and Lennon Phillips; special friend, Susan Human; her beloved companion, Toby; sister, Virginia Inscore; brothers, Enoch Hubbard (Shirley), Dale Hubbard, (Carol), and Jasper "Jug" Hubbard (Sherry); sister-in-law, Shirley Hubbard; along with several nieces and nephews.

The Human family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 7 p.m. with Pastors Mark Simmons and Rev. Harold Morelock officiating.
