Faye A Holden

Mrs. Faye Annette Moore Holden, Jonesborough, age 79, has gone to be in the angel choir in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

Faye was born in Salem, Virginia, to the late Richard and Laura Rosella Moore

Alora Crain (Abigail), Blake Holden (Kristen), Brittaney Barnes (Clyde), Brandon Holden (Kaylee); Great grandkids Charlie Thomas, Alan Thomas, Ava Thomas, Samuel Thomas, Henry Kasputis, Justice Kasputis, Athena Kasputis,
Addison Wilson, Molly Holden, Ezekiel Holden, Elijah Holden, Zayn Holden, Zadie Holden, Liam Mohr,Wylder Barnes ,Alissa Holden; two brothers, Mike (Melba) Moore, and David (Linda) Moore; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Shanks family for love prayers and support thru this trying time.

Also we’d like to thank Jonesborough Funeral Home and New Hope Brethren Church for all the help and support along this journey. Also the friends from other churches for prayers and visits.

Funeral Service for Faye will be Sunday September 6, 2026 4:00 PM at New Hope Brethren Church, 352 New Hope Road, Jonesborough. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service.

Graveside will be Wednesday September 9, 2026 2:00PM at Washington County Memory Garden. Pallbearers will be Matthew Gross, Clyde Barnes, Blake Holden, Brandon Holden, Daniel Thomas, Bobby Holden Jr. Honorary pallbearers Danny Franklin, Corey Dugger, Scott Crain, John Thomas Jr
