Ethel "Louise" Carberry, 77, of Jonesborough, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, March 14, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to the late John and Genell (Blizzard) Parker in Hawkins County. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She loved taking care of everyone and cooking. Louise was a longtime member of Logans Chapel Church and a previous Secretary of the Methodist Women. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her infant brother and sister; and her father and mother-in-law, Lee and Ruby Carberry.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Fred Carberry; sons, Gary Carberry (Kim); Terry Carberry (April), and Larry Carberry (Kim); grandchildren, Cody Carberry (Lindsay), Justin Carberry, and Jacob Carberry (Stephenee); great-grandchildren, Josie and Jace Carberry; brother-in-law, Jimmy Carberry (Vicki); one niece; and three nephews.
The Carberry family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Logans Chapel Church - 209 Logans Chapel Rd. Fall Branch, TN 37656. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ryan Shelton officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow the Funeral in Logans Chapel Church Cemetery. Louise's sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
