Emory Wade Feathers

Emory Wade Feathers, 62 of Chuckey, TN, died Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at his home after a battle with melanoma stage 4 cancer. He was a native of Washington County, TN, and the son of the late Samuel "S.E." and Marie Runion Feathers. Wade graduated from David Crockett High School in 1982. He was a Christian and a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, also attending and visiting other churches. He loved all kinds of music and especially singing "Never Grow Old" at church.
Survivors include his sister, Dollie Marie, and her husband, Randy Davis, of the home; Aunt Helen Runion of Jonesborough; and several cousins. Wade's request was to be cremated and buried with his parents at Union Church of Christ Cemetery. A Celebration of Life for Wade will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Boones Creek Christian Church, Union Campus, located at 3639 Cherokee Road, Jonesborough, TN.
