Denise Grenti

Denise Grenti, age 82, former resident of New Jersey later relocated to Jonesborough 6 years ago, passed away unexpectedly, Monday April 28, 2025 at her residence.

Denise was born in Bronx, New York, to the late Joseph and Helen Marotta Lopez.

Denise loved being active at the Jonesborough Senior Center, where she enjoyed yoga, taking classes and mostly going on excursions with her friends. Her newfound joy of being fit was one that came to her later in life and one that she was proud of. She enjoyed sharing her Spanish heritage with others and was a conversationalist with just about everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Hellman and Mark Grenti, and their respective spouses Chris Hellman and April Grenti, grandchildren, Lilly Reitzel, Colby Dixon, Landon Dixon and Shoshannna Grenti.

The family we receive family and friends at the home of her son Mark Grenti, 150 Hardin Dr, Jonesborough TN 37659 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday May 1, 2025.
