Connie Mae Martinez

Connie Mae Adams Martinez, 68, of Johnson City, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her home. She was born to the late James Robert and Bonnie Mae (Rigsby) Adams.

Connie was a member of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her special grandson, Marcus Beam; and sister, Margaret Hodges.

She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Hicks, Wendy Shepard, Brandi Greene, Tina Greene (Felipe Lopez); grandchildren, Christopher Kiernan, Hannah Hicks, Miranda Hicks, Brandon Shepard, Maria McGhee (Michael), Jessica Barnett, Shane Armstrong, Serrick Flores, Kayla Armstrong, Lilyana Roberts, Kyjuan Rigsby, Emily Roberts, Adrianna Federow, Ray Federow, Christian Federow; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn McGhee, Adia Kiernan, Hudson Armstrong; one brother, Robert Adams; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Martinez family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. . A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matthew Smith officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow the Funeral in Monte Vista Memorial Park.
