Barbara Bales

Barbara Ann Bales, 77, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, April 20, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born to the late Cecil and Lula (Houchins) Bowser. Barbara enjoyed reading, puzzles, and going to the beach.

Barbara is survived by her sons, John William (Melinda) and Cecil Dean (Christine), and daughter Tina Jean Street (Jeff); grandchildren, Gaige, Kayla, Mason, Broderik, Joshua, Jonathan, Abigail, and CJ; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Remington, Stella, and Jace; brother, Walter Bowser (Margaret); sister, Kathy Cox (Johnny); nieces, Brandy and Krystal.

The Bales family will honor Barbara's life with a Graveside Service on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery beginning at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roy Ferguson officiating.
